The Typography Lecture Series poster implements varying weights of sans serif fonts to distinguish hierarchy. I used a simple and light-colored pattern to keep the focus on the typography of the poster and again create hierarchy between elements.
The Type Specimen poster focuses on the Franklin Gothic font. The design implements a high-contrast color scheme and showcases the typeface’s unique qualities.
The Grunge music timeline poster puts a special focus on the golden age of Grunge in Seattle, Washington from 1980 to 1997. The poster features the major bands at the time as well as albums or songs they released in this golden age. The design features a guitar fret-board and a splatter pattern to represent the Grunge aesthetics during the time period.
